While working on a project and doing a repetitive task, the luthier will often develop a jig or template to make that task go faster or repeatable. Sometime the luthier will read about the idea in a magazine, book or on the web. Sometimes it is a result of a discussion or presentation at one of the meetings. In any case, it is worth documenting and sharing.
