Doug, Trevor, Giles and the staff at Rockler have been kind enough to let us use their shop space for meetings. You'll find a great selection of hand and power tools, videos and books (best in New England), an excellent wood department and plenty of in-store expertise. It seems like I am in there every weekend picking up something I'll need for the week to come.

Rockler is located at 2154 Mass Ave in Cambridge. This is North Cambridge, just a few blocks west of Porter Square and .9 mile east of Rt 16 (Arlington/Cambridge border).
The easiest route to the store is to get to Rt 2 East (via 95/128 or 495). When Rt 2 enters Cambridge, it will shrink down to 2 lanes and then split after Lanes & Games (by Alewife T Station). Bear left onto Rt 16 East (Medford/Everett/Revere) and turn right at the first major intersection (Mobil Station on right). This is Mass Ave. Go approximately .9 mile and look for the blue awning and Rockler sign on the right, just after Pemberton Market and Pemberton St.
From 93N/S you have several options. One option is getting off at Memorial Drive and working your way west through Harvard Sq to Porter Sq via Mass Ave. Another option is getting off at the Mystic Valley Parkway (rt 16) in Medford and heading west until you hit Mass Ave. Another is to take Mystic Ave to Harvard Ave, through Powderhouse Circle, through Davis Sq, to Dover St, and then take a left onto Mass Ave. It's literally 2 blocks from the Burren, where we had brunch a few months ago. Other ideas would be appreciated, but your best bet might be to use MapQuest.
On-street parking is free on Sundays (anywhere, no permits required) and there is a small parking lot behind the store.
