Directions to Tom Knatt Luthier's Workshop

FROM BOSTON: Take Route 2 to Route 111 (beyond I-495) and go north thru Ayer. Three miles beyond Ayer, turn left on Route 225 toward West Groton. In West Groton, go straight, keeping the Clover Farms store on your right. Route 225 goes left here. This is Townsend Road. Continue 2.6 miles to 687, a beige split level ranch on the left with the 2 story gambrel style garage which is the shop.

FROM NORTH OF BOSTON: Take I-495 south to Route 119 west. Go west thru Groton Center to 4 miles beyond. You will be in Pepperell and have passed Route 113. Go down a long hill, and Townsend Road is a sharp left. The house is 3 houses beyond the Squannacook Wildlife Management Area sign, about one mile down on the right.

FROM SOUTH OF BOSTON: Take I-495 north to Route 111. Follow the directions for FROM BOSTON above.

FROM THE WEST: Take Route 2 east to Route 111 and follow directions above. There is a faster way thru Shirley. Call for directions.

FROM THE NORTH: Take Route 13 from NH (Milford). At Townsend Center turn left onto Route 119. Proceed about 3 miles to just beyond the Townsend Harbor Shopping Center. Turn right on Townsend Road at the tanning salon on the left. Follow directions above from Route 119.
